I'm having some trouble joining some passworded games my friends have set up. When I click on "Join" I get this error message: "Input error -- please retry!"
This happens in both Firefox and Explorer.
Previously I was having some trouble with Firefox where the password screen would time out before I had time to type in the password, too.
EDIT: Never mind, I got it working. But I would be interested in knowing why it happened. |

Hey Bob, maybe you should stop joining all these games and let some other folks play. |

No, I'm seeing the same timeout error on the password page in FF3 on my Mac. Loading up in Safari works. |

If you open more than one SBW window in tabs, the joining gets messed up, since the site relies on unique numerical codes (and cookies, I'd guess) to ensure the page hand-offs work right. So, you can't control-click to join a bunch of games in separate tabs - the password entry won't work.
Incidentally, that's a feature I'd like to see - for tournament play, it would be much easier to find all your tournament games at once, open them in tabs, and then enter the password for each, rather than having to wait for the passworded game page to reload each time. |

Not opening things in new tabs. The page seems to load, and then immediately try to reload. Out of curiosity, is anyone else using Tab Mix Plus? It's the only add-on I'm using that I think could be interacting with the page. Perhaps something in the tab session saver it implements.
-Scratch that, works fine on the Linux box. Something about an interaction with FF3 on the Mac. *sigh* |
