I created an account, but never received an email to activate it. I have now created a second account, but I would like to remove my old one, so that I can use the email address to which it is attached for my new account.
Alternatively, I would like to be able to ressurect the first account. Is there any way to do either of these? |

So the second one worked but the first didn't? Out of curiosity, was the first one using a hotmail account? |

Ironically, it is the second one, the one that is working, that is hotmail. |

So I think there needs to be a way to resend an activation email for new accounts, or else these accounts are orphaned. Any way to do that, or at least delete the account? |

Was the first one a Yahoo address? Those seem to most often have problems getting these registration emails. Anyway, what was your first account? I'll combine the two (under the first username) and can use whichever email address you prefer... |

Actually, it was a comcast account which rarely has problems. Thanks for the help. |

I had a similar problem, yesterday, to the one described in this thread. I created RadAlienDad using email radaliendad@nc.rr.com, yesterday near mid-day sometime. The activation email didn't arrive. I think that it may have been id 4151 (a guess, based on an experiment I'll describe below).
After several hours, I asked my wife if her activation had been quick or slow. She reported that it was fast when she did it.
Then, in the evening, I tried again with a different id and email (as required, since the previous id and email are "registered" but not activated). This one was FatherOmnibus connected to email adickson@nc.rr.com. For this attempt, the email arrived in less than 5 minutes.
Both of the emails were on nc.rr.com. Both of them belong to my family road-runner account. I have not configured either to do any spam filtering.
There was one other difference between the two accounts. I didn't fill in the lower section of the form (BGG id, etc) on the first one.
Some sites have a re-send activation option for new accounts. That would have taken care of my problem if it worked.
If it is possible for the RadAlienDad account to be deleted, so I can attempt to create it again, that would be great. (It's nice to have people who do both BGG and SpielByWeb recognize me.)
Thanks

I took the URL used to activate FatherOmnibus, and changed the 4153 to a few other numbers. 4151 gave me an "activation key invalid" message, while the rest gave me while the rest gave me an "account is already activated" message. |

I have deleted the unactivated RadAlienDad account, and changed the activated one from FatherOmnibus to RadAlienDad. |

Thanks for fixing me up. My wife was uncertain about playing against Father Omnibus. It seems to be much more comfortable for her to play aggressively against me in my usual nickname.
