I am more than happy to run these tournaments, but given the limitations of the messaging system and the interface for checking which games have started/been set up I have some requests.
Thanks to all of you who create the games. It can be a little tedious creating the games, but by using cut and paste it doesn't take that long.
Request 1 - if you come to join a game and it has not been set up, please think about setting it up. If you really don't have time to set it up, remember that you have still to join the game, and check it if has been set up next time you are back. 
I do not mind pm'ing those who may have missed the original draw post once some of the games have been set up.
Request 2 - if I do pm you, please act on it, and then create any missing games - if a game hasn't been created by the time I have sent a reminder, it is in danger of slowing the whole tournament down.
It is most annoying for me to have to keep checking whether someone has not joined the odd game.
Request 3 - if I send a pm asking you to join/set up the odd game, please act on it straight away. |

As a matter of interest, I have just created my 6 games for Tournament 6 and found it much quicker creating the games than trying to join them later. I guess this is because the create game screen does not need to query the database for all the passworded games.  |

if you are joining or participating in a tournament of league
you NEED TO check the forum for updates and notices about
your tournament or league
many users just ignore the forum |

I was just adding to the futile attempt by Gaditus
on the other hand those who do read the forum need to realize many users do not
the down side of reading the forum >>>>>>> 
early today an error was revealed in the seeding of the next round in the Amun-Re World Cup 
in reply to the problem "rseulow" requested that the games that were created
be deleted so he could fix the seeding
I deleted my games 
and rseulow deleted his request 
this happened all is less than 5 minutes today 
I created the new games 8 hours later  |

I don't expect it to be entirely futile. If someone continues to ignore my requests I will have something to refer to should I decide to blacklist them from future tournaments. |

Ooo - Gaditus gets tough!
But I agree, if someone is persistently uncooperative, you can simply omit them from future events - so long as you PM them to let them know why, I have no problem with that. |
