Normal Rules but with one extra scoring possibility.

In round 6 only there will be a bonus of 10 points for having three provinces (consecutively) in a line:

eg Damanhur - Buto - Mendes or Kharga - Abydos - Amarna

Avaris will count in either of the two normal size provinces it covers, eg
Avaris - Mendes - Buto or Avaris - Thebes - Edfu will score.

Top 4 go through to the final.

it appears someone already filled one of my games.... I have re-created game 03 with the title -real- on the end....

Gaditus, can you confirm that's the right course of action?

Yes, thanks rico. Payton and keke will need to join this replacement game.

I know it's a kind of fishy to change the rules during the tournament, but still, here is a suggestion: Top 5 go to the final.

We played this variant in real-time with 5 players and it worked better than with 4 players. It increases the possibilities of reaching 3 Provinces in a row at the 6th round because all Provinces are in play. Just a thought.

OK - as only a few games have finished - I am happy to go with this suggestion.
