Anyone can create the game - use the exact name (eg Season 5 Div 11 #10) and put the players names in the comments section. (Opening two tabs and using cut/paste makes it easy to create games.) The password for all games is tournament.
Players have 5 games (except divisions 10 and 11 where they have 6 games).
I would like all games to be completed by 21 May, so we can move on to season 6. (There is an extra week to allow for the Easter break.)
It takes a reasonable amount of effort to run these leagues - which I am quite happy to do. The most effort is in chasing up players to join/create their games - so a plea - it would be most helpful for me if players could create any games that have not yet been created when they come to join their games.
As an incentive to quick play and to give those who finish early something to compete in while they wait for the next season the first nine players to finish two games will be eligible for the 'season five cup'. If two players reach two games finished at the same time it will be whoever finished their first game earlier. If still not broken it will be based on whoever finished lower in season four.
The 'cup' will consist of three one game semi finals with the three winners (ties broken after pyramids and stones, by whoever has the province nearer the start of the alphabet after turn 6) going into a one game final.
The semi final draws will be random, but with the proviso that players from different divisions will be kept apart as far as possible. |

| I created the Div 10 games, but as "Division 10", not "Div 10". I'd delete the existing ones and recreate them, but as far as I know, I can't, even though I'm the only one in them so far. Is there ANY way to cancel a game that has no sign-ups yet? |

Yes - go to 'your games' and then 'your games waiting to start'. There should be an option to delete them. |

Gaditus, thanks again for all your efforts to set up these tournaments. I greatly enjoy them and appreciate your hard work.
FYI - I checked the forum, saw the brackets posted, and got things rolling for games I am involved in, and I am set up for automatic notifications, but didn't see any message for the start of season 5 go out yet. Not sure if it was related to my e-mail, or if others haven't received as well. |

So I see Season 5 Div 10 #08 has finished and come to put it into my scoring spreadsheet and it has two players who aren't even in the tournament in it.
Carmilla managed to play the whole game without realising the others should not have been in the game.
mooka and StanislavTikal have spent the last week playing only 5 out of 6 games.
If one of the three wishes to create a new game with an x at the end I will count it in the final reckoning. Perhaps the creater could also pm the others to join as as it's already over a week into the tournament.
