Speaking for Division C, we lost 4-5 days from (near) simultaneous vacations (Greven and daveszum) leading into May 10. I haven't looked, but I'm guessing one of the two is in every game in the division, explaining why all are behind, while the overlapping nature of the absence is keeping all of the games at even pacing.

But outside of that, pace of play seems to be pretty good.

I am not sure whether the play is at the speed I originally envisaged, but ...

I intend to start each season off on the 1st of the month - that way everyone will know in advance to look out for the draw and (hopefully) games will then start quickly. Games not completed when I make the draw (which may be slightly before the end of the month) will be ignored for the purposes of deciding the leagues for the following season, although they will eventually be scored and points will apply for following seasons.

If anyone is likely to be away (and unable to play) for more than 48 hours in the month I would like them to sit out (and rejoin with whatever points they have carried forward to the following season).

If games have not been completed within the month I may remove players from the following season. I may also give 'warnings' which would signal removal if such players did not speed up in subsequent seasons.

There are a few players who have not told me about their intentions for season one (see ? above), and others may wish to reconsider.

I have decided to go for 7 in a divison if possible, with 8 or 6 in the lowest divisions to make the total numbers correct.

In a 7 player division everyone plays everyone else twice and it will be clearer who, if anyone is slowing things down.
