New for season four

I will be making some changes to the workings of the league from next season - involving promotion/relegation - to try to cope fairly with players who sit out a season and then have to join again at the bottom. This will enable players who know they will be absent for a reasonable time and therefore may slow the league down to be able to miss a season and then return around their current level rather than stay in because they are afraid of dropping down too far.

Regardless of this, season four will be extended to allow for vacations over the (northern hemisphere) summer and a cut off deadline will be decided around the end of August. I intend to start season four later this week to avoid a direct clash with the 4 player league. I will make allowance for the outstanding games in divisions 6 and 8 when making the draw, but there will be no change to the methodology in working out this season's promotions/relegations.

Currently ahauwi1, Knave and greyshoe have dropped out and thatchergreg has yet to tell me. If anyone else wishes to change their position for next season let me know now!
