| My father's birthday is coming up, and he's an avid hunter. I want to give him the best laser rangefinder. But I don't understand them so I need your advice |

| That would be a really good gift for your friend. Rangefinders are essential tool in hunting and I recommend them to anyone. I actually have the best laser rangefinder and I got it for really good price. I got it online on a website that sell really good and high quality hunting equipment. First I bought a scope from there and I was so delighted with it so I decided to get a rangefinder also. It was a really good decision and the best thing about their equipment is that you can connect it to your phone and do a lot of cool things with it. |

| Hi! The fellows responding are giving good advice. One point that I want to touch on is the range, distance you are going to shoot. Some spotting scopes may not focus to short distances ie. 25yds. The Simons scope I use will focus from 10yds. to infinity and magnify from 20 to 60X. I would recommend you this one https://theoptics.org/best-scope-for-marlin-336/ |
