Is it possible to create a game without a password and then boot players that join the game who do not meet the game requirements? Example; you create a game and ask for players that move quickly (in under x amount of hours). A players joins that game with an average move that is over xx+ hours. You do not want the game to get bogged down becasue its suppose to be a quick moving game. Can that player get booted? And if the last player that joins this game is a very slow player, can we still have the ability to boot that player? Players that take forever to move seem to love to join games that is asking for quick players. Why is that? |

I see a lot of people viewed this message and left no reply, so I will. Hey that is one heck on an idea? I'm also in games where a player will join a game that is not password protected and has a track record of hours well beyond that which the others would consider playing with but cannot do anything about it. I guess password protect all games and send out initations to those that have a good track record? Anyway, enough about my complaints, this is still the best site on the NET! |

There was some discussion a while back about this, and I think Milksheikh said he would eventually institute some kind of commitment/karma/speediness requirement that you could use when setting up a game.
However, I think this falls under the realm of "things to do when the site admins have gobs of time, and if they have gobs of time what are they doing working on that stuff when there's all these other neat games they could be adding to the site?"
Your best bet is to play passworded games with people you know, or post something in the forums asking for super-speedy players (and define what that it) and list the password there. Just my two cents. |
