In round 5 of the game 92819, "Chubitude", faticus placed a pig (this is actually not the opening of a joke:) connecting a size 6 land chain to a market. The game log shows faticus was awarded 1 peso: why not 7?
The map id is 052 and scoring variant 1 is being used. Apparently I can't post a url until I've posted 10 entries. I also have a screenshot showing both the game log and the game board. |

because it was variant 1.
in variant 1 it is not about land chains + animals.
it is about how many land tiles that chain of animals is connected to. If you look carefully that animal was only connected to 1 land tile.
1 tile x 1 animal = 1 pesos |

Thanks Brennus: that clears it up for me.
Note to developers: the ? link next to the scoring column is very helpful. For rule-challenged people like myself, it might be helpful to also have a ? link next to the pesos column showing the peso formula for each variant.
Either way, this game rocks: excellent work. |

if youre in a game there is a "rules" link.
Click on that to see the general rules. There will also be a navigation bar on the side where there is option 8 - variants. Thats where you can find the pesos calculations for the different types.
I had to search for it the first few times as well |
