Good luck finalists.
I've really enjoyed playing this tournament (my first) with all of you and I asked the etiquette question out of respect.
I ruffle enough feathers as it is with my aggressive (and usually self-defeating:( water blocks. But I remind you that I'm an equal opportunity blocker! |

Thanks. For whatever reason my 3p hacienda is so much better than 2p or 4p. I will have to practice those ones more |

just a quick update....
the plate comp is still on-going due to one person going a bit awol.... please if this happens again and slows up the tournament then just send the person a message and do not wait for me to notice 1 month later....
looks like the target will be at least two wins to be in the top 3....
i think out of the twelves games there's 3 or four people all on two wins.
will check this a bit later for progress.
Meanwhile, In the top half, the final has just been concluded between IBX, almondralf & myself. The first two games went to myself & almondralf,
but with almondralf edging it with a 2nd place vs my woeful 3rd....
on a map where blocking was slightly easier, i considered myself quite lucky to get away with relativly little of it (or perhaps blocking a bit too early) and snuck the crucial win from ralf - thanks for a very enjoyable final guys, and well done for getting there ahead of some of the big names |

Right, quick update on the 3-player plate semi...
Scoot seems to have gone awol again....
the standings about a month ago and still unchanged are:
Player 1sts 2nds 3rds Played
tphon 2 1 3
StanislavTikal 1 2 3
swok 2 1 3
borisumi 1 2 3
scoot
inferno 2 1 3
dawnuk 1 2 3
Dobinator 2 1 3
yahkeh 1 1 1 3
this basically means that Tphon, Swok & Dobs are almost garauntee'd the three final spots, only Scoot could take a place, even if Yahkeh won the last game and to tie with one of the three already on 2 wins (assuming one of them finish 3rd) then yahkeh has already lost to all three in the other matches so would finish 4th even if they won their last game.
Tphon, Swok, Dobs, you can each creat one game of your chosing for the plate final |

Ok, I can reveal the first ever winner of the very first plate final...
it was very tight with each finalist winning a match each but on second place countbacks the win goes to Swok!!!!
Swok 1 win 2 seconds
Tphon 1 win, 1 second, 1 third
Dobinator 1 win, 2 thirds
Congratulations Swok! |
