What are several large companies using now?
Because every time I need to receive a confirmation email from a service (for example, Steam), it takes four hours to receive the email (but Steam wants you to enter the code immediately). But if I ask for it a second time, both will come in a minute. (For example, if I wait five minutes, then I get bored and I request it again, boom, both come almost immediately, so I imagine how it lines up and prioritizes)
And I've had this experience with several other large companies as well. Just recently, I received a confirmation email for "PluralSight". Four hours after receiving it, I click on the link: "Sorry, this link has expired, please enter your email address to resend the confirmation link." Which completely and completely contradicts the purpose of their garbage security system.
Some things on the modern internet don't scale well. |
