In game 1796, there are two shrimp on the same coral! What's with that?

That's the rules there,

You can have at most 2 shrimps on any one rock/coral/board.

'Fraid not. Two shrimp can NEVER occupy the same coral.

Yeah that is messed up. That shouldn't be possible. You can have 2 shrimp on one rock(board) but not 2 on the same coral.

Looking at your game log... It also looks like the Joel's green shrimp was stolen by mbs808 in that move. The last thing I see in the log about those spaces are:
"Joel chose action 5, moving a shrimp from cell F9 to cell C10"
"mbs808 chose action 4, introducing a shrimp on space F9"

Now it shows two yellow shrimp on the coral.

Sorry, I was away for a few days so I wasn't able to look into this until now. I found the cause: Joel placed his first white polyp at E10 and it was the extra-growth at D10 that joined this with the coral his shrimp controlled. My code didn't catch that, so it treated it as two corals, allowing mbs808 to place a shrimp at F9 (which then got it completely confused).

I've corrected the code so this shouldn't happen again. But let me know what to do with your game. I can return it to where it was when Joel took his turn and the problem first surfaced, or I can leave it as it but give Joel his shrimp back.

This problem still appears to be in evidence. If you view the game Clever SOG Name, on the bottom board. If I eat the gray tile cluster, move one of my shrimp to the lone pink tile near the top of the board, and then place a tile between in and the extra growth space, it will convert the shrimp on the lower pink cluster to my color. (And join the two clusters.)

I will hold off on this game until you see the result. In the meantime, I will leave it in the broken position.
