Fresh off two highly productive seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after coming out of retirement, Rob Gronkowski will be testing out the free agent market in the offseason. As a four-time NFL champion and one of the greatest tight ends to ever play the game, Gronkowski will definitely garner a ton of interest from several teams.
www.camisetasnfltienda.es ,His innate ability to catch any pass thrown his way paired with his top-notch run and pass blocking and route running make Gronkowski such a dominant force. With the Buccaneers set to go through a ton of roster changes this offseason, he may consider taking his talents elsewhere.
Here are the four best landing spots for Rob Gronkowski in NFL free agency if the Buccaneers don’t re-sign him.
4. Los Angeles Rams
After upending the Cincinnati Bengals to win Super Bowl LVI and cap off their historic season, the Rams are riding high as the new team to beat in the NFL. Even though they already possess plenty of depth and talent in their passing game, Gronkowski would be great insurance for them to have at tight end, especially with Tyler Higbee sidelined due to a knee injury that he suffered in the NFC Championship Game.
Adding Gronkowski to a lineup featuring Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, Cam Akers, Van Jefferson, and Robert Woods (when he returns from injury) would add to the Rams’ dynamic aerial assault that’s already been a nightmare cover for opposing defenses. Plus, if they’re able to re-sign Odell Beckham Jr. and Sony Michel, then all bets may be off for the 2023 title.
3. Dallas Cowboys
With the strong possibility of Dalton Schultz leaving the team in free agency, this would leave a major void at the tight end spot for the Cowboys. The addition of Gronkowski would give the Cowboys a complete and dynamic offensive unit that would greatly increase their chances of repeating as division champions and making a Super Bowl run in 2023.
Gronkowski joining a star-studded offense that already has Pro Bowl talents in Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, CeeDee Lamb, Amari Cooper, Tony Pollard, and Michael Gallup could make them the highest-scoring team in the NFL. Gronkowski joining this deep Cowboys squad would bring a fun new dimension to their offensive game plan.
2. Los Angeles Chargers
On the Chargers’ electric and high-octane scoring attack, Gronkowski would give them quality depth at the tight end spot behind Jared Cook while joining an elite offensive unit featuring Keenan Allen, Austin Ekeler, Josh Palmer, and Andre Roberts. If they’re able to re-sign Mike Williams, then the Chargers would have the most superior passing game in the NFL behind the accuracy and arm strength of All-Pro quarterback Justin Herbert.
Rob Gronkowski’s skills, persona, and veteran leadership would do wonders for this young Chargers squad that’s on the verge of postseason stardom. Between the championship pedigree of Gronkowski and the developing skillsets and clutch plays of Herbert, Allen, Ekeler, and Williams, it’s hard to imagine the Chargers not overtaking the Kansas City Chiefs as new kings of the AFC West.
1. Cincinnati Bengals
After recently stating that he’d love to play alongside rookie gunslinger Joe Burrow and help the Bengals compete for multiple championships, it appears that this could become a reality sooner than we realize for Gronkowski. With arguably the most explosive offense in the NFL, the Bengals would get even better with the addition of the four-time Super Bowl champion.
In joining a multi-skilled offensive unit featuring Ja’Marr Chase, Joe Mixon, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd, Gronkowski’s presence would be highly valued and elevate the Bengals’ powerful aerial assault even further. With the looming possibility of CJ Uzomah leaving the team in free agency, Gronkowski would be the perfect replacement and bring a ton of championship experience to a youthful group that’s destined for championship glory. |
