Can anyone please recommend a free home design software? Any that will focus on individual rooms for placement of furniture/appliances.

I thought that some Windows bundles contained a very plain design software. There was a program in early 2000s at work that was used for something related to the company open house and I had to have someone show me how to use it. Name escapes me... Searching online, I see some results for SmartDraw-you can download the app for your Windows desktop or use the online version.

There is an app that I've been using for a while. It's easy to use, and the best part is that it allows you to focus on individual rooms. Most of the apps can only provide you with the visuals for the whole house, so it's not very helpful when you want to design only one room. Or perhaps I didn't find another app that lets you do this. I've discovered this room creator with the help of my ex-boyfriend, who works in the field. He was very passionate about it and helped me redesign so many rooms in my house. Apparently, there are some good things coming out of an ex, haha. I hope it helps you.
