I spent a lot of time on this during the renovation of my apartment. There are a lot of paints to choose, but you have to consider some important factors including paint quality, application method, sheen and contrast between previous wall color. If you're planning to apply a lighter color over a darker one, you may need more coats or a tinted primer. I chose liquid wallpaper Silk Plaster.
