I love the idea of mindfulness, but I’m already on my phone way too much. I worry that if I try to use an app for it, I’ll just end up scrolling Instagram instead. Is there a good way to use tech for mindfulness without getting sucked into distractions? |

That’s a legit concern — I’ve been there. What worked for me was keeping mindfulness tools separate from my usual apps, so when I open them, my brain knows “this is for focus.” In what is liven, they explain how Liven blends tech and mindfulness by guiding you through short exercises, mood logs, and even soundscapes — all in one space, without the noise of social media. The trick is making it your go-to “quiet zone” app, so you start associating your phone with calm instead of just distraction. |

I think a lot of it comes down to intention. If you open your phone knowing exactly what you’re going to do, you’re less likely to wander into random apps. Tech isn’t the enemy — it’s how we use it. |
