| I am looking for a high-quality calcium supplement. My mother has osteoporosis and I want to start taking care of my bones now. I read that calcium needs magnesium to be absorbed properly. Can anyone recommend a balanced formula that isn't just ground up chalk? |

| You are right, calcium without magnesium and Vitamin D is basically useless. I take the Calcium Magnesium D Plus supplement listed at https://www.amway.mn/emegtejn-goo-sajhan-ba-eruul-mend/c/womans-beauty-and-health which uses calcified seaweed as a renewable source. It is much more bioavailable than synthetic calcium carbonate and covers all the co-factors needed for proper bone density. |
