I am having a problem taking my turns on my hacienda games. It is not showing my name when it is my turn (other people can see that it is my turn but to me it shows that it is other ppl's turns). When I go into the game it will then show me it is my turn, but when I try to take my turn, it shows "input error" and I cannot do anything. Previous to this problem starting, I was taking my turns but then it would not show that my turn was over, it would go back to "0/3" and have me take my turns all over again. I have logged back in and out several times and it doesn't fix the problem. Help! Thanks! _________________ Steff |

I use internet explorer & windows xp office. I just realized this problem is only on my work computer, I am home now and it seems to be working fine. At least I can take my turns from home, but as I am at work all day it would be nice to keep up w/ my turns while I'm there...
I am able to take my amun-re turns, it is just hacienda that I have that problem with. Thanks! _________________ Steff |

Did you try a hard refresh of the game page? |

Steff, your office might be using a proxy server that's caching the pages. That could be messing it up. If that's the case, there may not be much you can do about it. |

Or you could try Firefox. It really works tons better for Hacienda. |

Sadly, some people's offices don't allow them the freedom to do things like "use Firefox" or "install software."
Thankfully "play on SpielByWeb" is one of those things that they haven't taken away.
Yet. |

Thanks Dave, it seems to be working just fine now....which is odd, I didn't do anything except refresh the page earlier. We use firefox at home but nearsider is right, I can't install anything at work w/out permission. In fact, anything new that I try to install is usually blocked from installation. Which is fine....but how do I explain to my boss that being able to play hacienda is a MUST!!! Anyways, thanks again everyone, for all the tips! I think I'm good to go...for now.... _________________ Steff |
