I only received 1 point for a bonus card and I had 26 gold compared to 25 gold for the most gold. I was given only 4 points and the person with 25 gold was given 6 points.

It shows you got the 3 points for your power card bonus. 7+6+0+0+3+4 = 20pts

At this moment, Gishe currently has more gold than you (Power cards that aren't played are counted as 1 gold each)
25 + 5 power cards = 30 gold 6pts
vs. your
26 + 3 power cards = 29 gold 4pts
The gold isn't officially sorted out for the final scoring until all the players have finished this round.

Thanks for clearing the gold issue up for me. I still have a problem with the power card. I had 30 points before I used the card. After I played it I had 31. At first I thought I was crazy and then I hit the backspace and sure enough I had 30 points prior to using the power card.

if Gishe plays a power card you will gain back 2 points

And that is exactly what happened. I played one power card to get 3 points, but spending that card allowed you to come back to a first place tie for most gold, so you also got 2 points.
