What is the best browser to use for Hacienda? IE takes forever to load each page in. |

I use IE on two different computers and I have Firefox on both also
I like the looks of IE better --- thats me
but the past few days --- SBW has been sloooooooooooow
during the day on both browsers
I do not know if the problem is with my ISP (high speed cable) or with SBW |

downloaded Firefox, amazed at the difference. Hacienda on IE is painfully slow, takes 30 secs to load a page in sometimes. On Firefox, it plays as quickly at Amun Re. Thanks. |

I used IE when I started and played fairly well, then when I installed Firefox I started losing more often, so I went back to IE and have played better since, so I would have to say IE is better for Hacienda |

Keep using Firefox. In time, you might turn back... |

page loading is ok
the thing that was very slow was --- completeing an action
i.e. -- Hacienda --- click on a card and wait..........
place the card and wait.............
end your turn and wait....................

It works great for me on IE7. At the most it may take 3-5 seconds to load. But most of the time it loads in a sec or two.
...just my 2 pennies. |

IE7 fixes the problems IE6 had with PNG transparency, so it will load about the same as Firefox. Firefox tends to have a slightly faster rendering engine, but IE7 is pretty darn close at this point. IE6 is archaic. _________________ ---------------

IE6 is still the standard for many enterprise environments. IE5.5 is archaic, IE6 isn't quite there yet. Some of us don't have a choice about what to use at work. |
