By all means check my stats and criticise my performance then. I think you'll find I was and still am a newbie by most standards and very few of my games were against zero game newbies. However congratulations on criticising a year old thread.
The harping self satisfied sniping by an inner sanctum on this site really did (and it would appear still does) get on my tits despite the popular but lame defence of it being in the name of comedy. Why do you feel the need to do this? _________________ It's not the winning, it's utter annihilation of your opponant that matters. |

Well as you can tell from my stats, I'm a complete newbie to this game which is why I landed on this thread in the first place. Upon seeing your sig, I realized I may have come to the wrong place. I thought I'd test the waters though, in case I'd gotten the wrong impression. Judging from your response it seems that impression was udderly correct. Sorry to have hit a nerve; I hope you'll continue to enjoy gaming here; no offense was intended.
If anyone is out there hoping to join a newbie game or help some newbies understand this game and what appears at first glance to be a complex set of rules, I'd sure appreciate a PM and your subsequent teachings; I've already created a pw'd game for this purpose - "School of fish". |

Wow, you guys are really milking this thread, and while it's titillating and all, Bkruppa really went for the jugular!
I don't think anybody here should kowtow to the other, and I think everyone should stop acting like big b**bs.
Frankly, all of you should nip this in the bud.
I'll keep watching this thread to keep abreast of this pendulous situation.
Remember, well rounded players come in all shapes and sizes.

I have answered the call. Would anyone else like to join us in a learning game? If so, PM ahauwi1.
Bob, surely you can't be worse than people who've never played? |

It looks like you're all set; you have smlait to teach you how to play, and stargate to teach you how *not* to play.
All you need now is a fourth player, preferably a newbie.
Have Fun!

...who admits to teaching Bob how to play. Oh, the shmae... |
