ok then. welcome aboard dave and Hammer 
the line up is set for an 8 player field. now i'll be puzzling out the match ups and rules over the holidays and post them on New Year's day. the basic format will still play out as i described, namely some number of qualifying rounds (probably 3) to reduce the field to 4 for the playoffs.

sorry, Messier, but the tournament is full now with 8 players, already expanded from the original 6-player format.
i'll probably start another tournament after this one finishes, hopefully in about 3 months if the players keep up a good place. i'll put you on the list for that one if you like.
