It's a penalty equal to the number of times you've asked that question.



No, just kidding. It's the total of the number of points you've been behind in games you've not won, I think. Used as a tiebreaker sometimes.

Here is the full table.

The format is - games played, 1sts, 2nds, 3rds, name, (points lost by).
Those in red are in promotion positions and those in blue are in relegation positions.
If players are tied (as are many on 0 games played) then the order is randomised.
I will allow for the final tie breakers (head to head games and drawing lots) only when the division is concluded.
In preparing the tables I have given more weight to a game in hand than a 2nd or 3rd place, so those who haven't finished a game yet are above those who haven't won a game.

Please check your own position as I do make the odd mistake - and pm me if you find a possible error.

I suspect the tables will be a bit more interesting as more results come in.

I have been trying to think of some 'reward' for finishing top of division 1, other than the title of league champion (as if that's not enough).
My reward is that if a player wins the league twice in sucession, then he/she will have immunity from relegation for the following season.

I have also been trying to think of a sensible way to deal with ties - if for no other reason than they mess up my formatting.
In future leagues, I will award the win (or 2nd place) if players are tied on points and pyramids/stones to the player who has the first province alphabetically (so if you think it's going to be close you should go for Abu).
For this season, ties will score 0.5 (as is the case in division 1).

rather than arbitrarily awarding one player 2nd and one 3rd, why not just give both a 2nd placing? It wouldn't affect the formatting nor anything else very much.
