1. For me the faster the better. But don't really matter.
2. I like 3 games on the same map
3. Map choices: this is too much for me, so i take whatever i get.
4. 10 is nice
5. Sounds good |

It all seems to work well at the moment! I favor 3 games on same map at once, but agree with the thought of more variation in maps ... occasional land buyout games are fine on good maps! |

The 3rd game could be made more meaningful in several ways. For example, if you win 3-0, you get 2 points, but if you win 2-1, you only get one point. The loser would get 0 points in both cases.
Or maybe 1 point per win, you just play 3 games against each opponent. I'm not sure if there's any reason for the best-of-3 format. |

I like the current format as it is too.
I did think this was a good idea though:

As to ranking people going forward... I might do something more like this:
Div A gets 4 pts per win, Div B get 3 points, Div C get 2, Div D gets 1...
that way the players that did well in their group have a small chance to be ranked ahead of those from the bottom of the one above... otherwise, you wont get alot of movement in either direction.

Good to hear everyone's thoughts. Keep them coming.
It seems like the general consensus is that the 3 game matches are good. Some push for using different maps within the game, my main objection is trying to choose them!
I'll have a look at how that point system above works in practice, it's a good concept, I like having the ability to vary the LEagues by more than 2 players each, particularly because the initial division was not necessarily very accurate.
I'll probably go with 9 days between for the next season. However it will be a condition of joining that if you fall behind, you are willing to be playing 3,4 or even more matches at the same time.
The main area I think could be improved is in the map selection, which is very much biased towards maps I like. Please take a look at the map rankings I posted in an old thread, and suggest different maps and, if necessary, your reasons for liking them.
Also, feedback on the maps used this season - where there any that you really disliked in particular? |

1) 9 days is good for me
2) i can see noone else likes my idea so am happy enuff with it as it stands
3) maps - i'm no expert so will leave this to others till i know more about what makes a good map
4/5) would definitely prefer fewer players - maybe 6 - as it facilitates adding new recruits and keeps things more active
n) i would also like to see an option of maybe opting out of 1 iteration of the league without being relegated _________________ +

I fully expect that some players will opt in and out of the league as seasons pass. Each time a player joins or rejoins I will attempt to place them in the appropriate league. So if they are a previous player in the League then I'll have a pretty good idea where they belong.
Another point for the new season: where possible I'd like to be able to communicate with players via email. It's painfully slow sending messages to multiple players, as the site wont let you send to more than one player at a time and there's an enforced delay of about 15-20 seconds between sending messages. I suspect most players are like myself and have regular email accounts so would be able to be contacted that way instead. I'd still use forums for all important information. |

I'll also put a vote in for having enjoyed it very much as is.
Could some things (map selection, variants played, etc) be different? Sure. But this league is this format and it seems works well. To me, if you're looking for play on multiple maps with different variants, playing in one of the many tournaments also going on simultaneously - and I would like to note also setup and monitored very well by Kanga, thank you for your time - is an option already available. |

TMJJS is actually 0 wins 6 losses. |
Anytime there is an extreme score like this, you have to question the brackets.
|
Or question the skill of the player! Most of those loses were 2-1, but while I understand the game, I'm not sure I'm real good at it. According to this league - I'm not! |

I suspect you were simply placed in the wrong bracket. League A was very very tough. You were effectively ranked on one good result in a 5 player tournament. |
