I'll play, but i don't want to be in any games with Knave.

He's too damn slow!

I'm only in if we play the advanced version (the standard setup isn't balanced enough IMHO)

Hey! I never point out specific people.

No, wait, I do.

I probably should have just not said anything here I guess...

I vote we force knave to play! This game is just up his alley ... aggresive ... slow ... oops ... I mean ... fast.

And I think he has irritated enough people that he is likely to get attacked a lot! Never seen a player wiped off the board in Wally? Would be interesting!

And for the record I'm also out, too many games!

Actually, a game that I was in recently nearly saw somebody wiped off the map. Through no fault of his own, just terrible luck. Also, once he was weakened (no gold/armies) the others players (and myself) knew we could attack him with impunity. It was ugly.

I'll give it a go.

Also, I vote for Advance setup.

And I definitely vote for Knave to play!

That's 19 or 20 if we include Defdamesdompi who will only play the adavanced version.

I am not really good enough to have much of a view on basic versus advanced.

I initially thought advanced was fairer, but the luck of the draw seems to make it almost as random as the basic game. It also adds time which makes me think basic is probably the way to go for the initial tournament. If that is a sucess then we can always have another.

However, if there is an overwhelming outcry in support of advanced I could be persuaded to change my mind.
