It looks like the semis will finish in the next two days. Of two remaining games one is in final scoring, and the other has 5 animal cards left in the deck.

I haven't checked the standings: maybe the top 3 spots are already decided.

Kanga and myself each have 3 wins. Total_Twit has 2 wins, and I think nobody else will have more than 1 win.

I will use the same tie rules as per invented for the multiplayer tournament final.... after placing results, if still tied then 2-way and 3-way ties to be decided based on the person who has used the lease number of "offensive water blocks", then based on aggregate % of winning score over all three games.

the only player that could catch the top three is Yahkeh, unfortunately I can tell already from the halftime score that it wont be possible to come back so IBX, brennus, Wurzel - please see the same final rules above (for main final ) - for your plate final -looks like a high standard plate final

Respectfully, I'd like to challenge the "offensive water block" (OWB) tie-breaker criteria. I think OWB is a fair move that should not be penalized.

Say player 1 goes for a huge land chain and buys up all the land tiles. Meanwhile, player 2 has connected to all the markets. Player 1 chose to go for land and now needs to catch up on markets. Should p2 just politely wait while p1 connects the remaining markets and wins? No. It's fair for p2 to do an OWB. Without OWB, the game is unbalanced. This is what the game creators intended.

What does everybody else think?

Offensive water blocks are a legitimate part of the game, whichever meaning of "offensive" you intend. I think that's a lousy tiebreaker. Wouldn't total score be better?
