And by the way Kanga ... I see you have already credited me with the game containing Djura and Mercurio. Did you like *THAT* water block? |

And just for the record, Mercutio's was self inflicted!
I guess I'm the only one with any money in the second half of that game! |

I could only really suggest maps I've played, which seems a bit biased. Having looked through the whole lot the other day, I would say there seem to be enough small maps to pick from, but how well they would each play I don't know. |

ok I've finally got off my butt and picked some maps for the final of the small map tournament.
All maps have less than 50 land tiles, but are varying in their overall size. Hopefully they'll all play reasonably.
Final A - no variant - is on map 349
Final B - variant 1 - is on map 180
Final C - variant 2 - is on map 153
Final D - Variant 1, 2 - is on map 328
password final
Game names: 3p small1/2 final A/B/C/D
Good luck! |

Finals in both halves are now complete
In my final, we were heading towards one win each with Early having a good position in the 4th game, when Games ran himself out of money, played the last forest to earn some gold, and allowed me to play my 3 forests as pampas, jumping past Early to claim the victory.
Winner: Kanga (2 wins)
Runners up: GamesOnTheBrain, Early_10
In the other final, rico44 caused the biggest upset in tournament history by defeating Rebelslayer and tom!

The finals were certainly interesting, although I was struggling to find good maps. I thought the very small map used in the final was way too small for a reasonable game.
What did people think of the small map / land limiting concept? |
