What map? Variant? Password? Just 1 game? |

I think for this round it's Map 217, three games, no variant, V1, and V2, password 2player. I'll give that a try and create the games; if it's not right, then let me know. |

That's right Dobinator, all that information is of course available in the original post. |

Congratulations to Rebelslayer, once again making his way through to the final, with a 2 -1 win over lindalait.
The other semi final is locked in a tight tussle between Games and myself; I have a narrow lead in both games with halfway scoring but dont fancy my chances of winning 2 out of 3 at the moment. |

GamesOnTheBrain and I played out 3 very close and interesting games on a map that neither of us liked.
in the no variant game, I had a 6 point lead, but Games had a much bigger land mass. With two rounds to go I still held a 1 point lead but Games went on to win by 6.
In the var 1 game, Games had some very poor land tile draws, but played his cards very well. Despite better position and actually making some money, I lead by only one point at the halfway mark. The second half once again seemed to leave me looking the better, but when the final score came out I hadn't managed to increase my lead; fortunately 1 point is all that it takes to win!
The variant 2 game saw Games draw 3 pampas on the first turn on a very pampas dependent map. However for reasons I couldn't quite pinpoint I stayed in the contest, before a good draw in the late game saw me register a narrow 5 point win.
So, it's Kanga v Rebelslayer yet again in the final. I don't quite understand how it keeps happening. |

So you won 2 out of 3 but cumulatively the win margins were the same? Sweet. |

In 2 player T3 R4 G3, in the losers' bracket, I barely beat wildscrpio in three close games. Is there a fifth round? |

I haven't played on the loser side yet. I don't know how Kanga has that set up. |

I only put players who lost in the first round into the loser's bracket, ie so that everyone got 2 games at least.
Dobinator is the first through to the "final" in the loser's bracket. The other half of that draw is a fair way behind. |

If you see the post from Sat Feb 9th - I don't think you're lost, just waiting for other games to be played. |

tphon defeated Rayogen in the R2 loser's half of the draw
This leads to
2 Player T3 R3 G8
tphon v shampoon
The winner of which plays IBX in the loser bracket semi final.
The winner of that plays Dobinator in the final.
I'm yet to start my games with Rebelslayer, been a bit busy this last week. |

From the original post:
Round 3 271
usual bit about 3 games, no var, var 1 and a var 2 game. |

tphon defeated shampoon 3-0
So IBX plays tphon in the semi final.
Map 217
2player T3 R4 G4 A/B/C
The final between myself and Rebelslayer is close to finishing; I hope I am about to gain my revenge for my drubbing last time. |
