I read about it too, but unfortunately, it often happens that some cancer patients are prescribed only one type of treatment. But most people get a combination of treatments, such as surgery with chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
There are also various other combinations of treatments such as chemotherapy and niclosamide medicine, you can even buy niclosamide product niclosam.com but I recommend consulting with your oncologist before taking it
