Somehow a player who got the Damanhur province first round purchased four cards. In the messages for the game it is clear he did not want to, and that it is definitely against the rules. Is there some way to step the game back to the beginning of his actions?

As a followup, the player (cowdog) says it happened this way:

cowdog: I clicked on the 'buy one' link, and the site did not respond. It sat on "loading". I let it try to load for about 5-10 minutes, at which point I stopped and re-clicked, which got "input error: try again"

That cycle repeated 2 or 3 times, until I found myself the owner of 3 extra ill-gotten-but-not-intentionally cards.

I got rid of all but one powercard (randomly selected) and changed cowdog's gold from 7 to 10.
