We have 21 entrants. I was going to limit it to 16 but I'll take an even number and use lucky losers when needed in future rounds.

It was suggested by someone that I use seeding based on win %'s, which seems logical, so I've done that.

The 21st player entered was ooivalf. If a 22nd player signs up in the next few days they can play ooivalf, otherwise I'm sorry we'll have to limit it to 20.

The 20 players, with their seeding and their match ups are:

Tournament 1A 1 shizzane v 20	striking_cobra

Tournament 1B 2	Rebelslayer v 19	peacebringer

Tournament 1C 3	kxw	v 18	StanislavTikal

Tournament 1D 4	Kanga	v 17	Steffany

Tournament 1E 5	spearjr	v 16	snoozefest

Tournament 1F 6	gische	v 15	Early_10

Tournament 1G 7	smlait	v 14	Liloliani

Tournament 1H 8	Stargate v 13	Alashar

Tournament 1I 9	Almondralf v 12	Djura

Tournament 1J 10 t_o_m9	v 11	Jernau25

One player should create a 3 games called Tournament 1X1 1X2 and 1X3, where X is the letter listed above. The password is tournament. The 3 games are a no variant game, a variant 1 game, and a variant 2 game.

Should a lucky loser be required for the next round, it will be the person who lost by the least, and if a further tiebreaker is required, who scored the most points.

Could those players who have not emailed me please do so, so I dont have to clutter forums with messages about the tournament. My email is kanga3@chariot.net.au

If there are any questions, let me know. Otherwise, good luck!! |

				| I presume if someone pulls out that the lucky player who was meant to play them gets a free ride into the new round? |

				Kanga-

Do you want us to wait for a couple more players to even out the tourney before starting our games? |

				| No, start now, if 2 more players show up then they can play eachother, but it doesn't make much difference. If we have 22, then there will be a lucky loser after Round 1 and Round 3, if we have 24 then it's only in Round 3. I'd rather get underway than delay any further. |

				Must read the competition rules.

presumably I missed out because I signed up in the forum, rather than emailing you.

Never mind, my mistake. Although why you needed email address is beyond me, when we have a perfectly good PM system here.

Maybe next time. Good luck everyone. |

Sorry freduk, I missed you accidentally. I've added you in the 12th game, see the other thread for details...

Tournament is now closed.

The only player not to have joined is peacebringer, who has been online but failed to join. I'll email him a reminder, otherwise the next substitute will be used. |

				| Regarding using the PM system here, it would be difficult to email the group, or several players at once, quickly. Not everyone checks their PM message box. I could use the forums, but that's clutters up the forum for everyone else. So I prefer to use email, and once i get the last two players email address, will communicate exclusively by email, except perhaps for the end of round updates. |

gishe is so far an amusing player. He or she took their turn in 2 games but not the third.

Very slow going. |

Now that is the definition of close...

And the 4th game finished, so not exactly "slow going" |
