In the game 41151 in the last 2 rounds, I placed the animals on (3,, (8,11) and (10,3) and I only get 2-5 pesos for connecting to the market with them, not ~40 pesos, that I expected.

But I won the game anyway:)

this is a rare event with some games on custom maps

after connecting small land chains into a larger chain
when collecting income -- YOU GET SHORT CHANGED

if possible try a different market or a different hex side of the same market
many times you will get the correct income
