I could be wrong , but I think this means that Pompkin, thiery'en'sarjant and brazo have qualified for the final. They will be joined by the winner of the last game, and the second placed player in that game unless it is grizzlyman when the third placed player will go through.

Sorry Gad, I'm sure this info is elsewhere, but how do you calculate the scores?

It was in the original draw (made on 19 May so the whole tournament took almost 6 months!)

"The scores awarded for positions (1st, 2nd etc) will be

5 Player - 20,12,6,2,0
4 player - 18,10,4,0
3 player - 15,8,1

The eagle eyed will notice that finishing 3rd in a three player game gets 1 point - not bad for coming last! This is to be fair across all games (necessary because not all players play the same number of 3/4/5 player games) - the average score per game is 8 points.

The top 10 point scorers will go into the semi final. This will consist of one 5 player game each, and for positions 1-8, one 4 player game and one 3 player game, and for positions 9/10 two 3 player games. The top 5 will proceed to the final to be played on a similar basis."

I made an error in calculating the points scored in one of the games and it makes a difference to the final scores:

Pompkin still gets the title on the basis of qualifying for the final in second place compared with brazo in 4th.

Two of the games in the final were decided on the tie breaker (most pyramids/stones) so it is perhaps appropriate that the winner was also decided on the tie breaker.

Thanks to domster for checking the results and pointing out my error - and as I have said many times, please do check your own position in tables when I post them as I am certainly not infallible!
