In the current situation of my current game, if I try to place a shrimp to the orange coral on the top left board, the site logs me out of spielbyweb, and fails to complete the action. Just to check, I've tried to do this in both Opera 8 and Firefox 1.5 beta. |

Interesting...
Can you post here:
- the URL from the address bar of the Reef Encounter page
- the URL of the little [+] symbol for the location you want to place the shrimp (right click on it and pick "Copy this link location" or whatever it says)
I trust you are having no other problems moving between pages on the site (including the forum)? |

Update:
1) It's not just the shrimp pacement. I decided to try placing polyps instead, and the same thing happened when I got to the part of placing them on the board.
2) I was having the problem when I was using Opera, and later Firefox. When, in desperation, I tried IE, it worked fine.
My guess is that it's a javascript compatibility error. Do your do your default development in IE? |

Oh, and no, I haven't been having any other problems with the site in any browser. |

I test using Safari, Camino, Firefox, and Netscape (all Mac OS X). The login session management is all done via phpBB (this forum software), so I imagine that's pretty well tested (and I don't think it uses javascript in doing so).
Presumably you'll have the same problem next turn. Can you post the info I requested above, and I'll see if I can figure out what the problem is? |

Sounds like a possible cookie/session problem in your Opera/Firefox setup. |

And, FWIW, I'm running Win XP SP1.
I'm going to wait until you've had a chance to investigate before I make my next move. |
