The 2008 Spielbyweb "PBEM" BPA Tournament is officially opened for sign-ups. If you are interested, write an email, with Amun-Re in the Subject, listing your Name and Spielbyweb alias to kwojtasz@roadrunner.com before September 28th.

As with all BPA sponsored online tournaments, all you need is BPA membership and an ability to check your game status to make a move atleast once/day. Vacations and such are allowed, so long as you use the Going Away function on Spielbyweb for the courtesy of your opponents. (Link on upper right on Spielbyweb)

The tournament will run over the next 30 or so weeks, with 5-6 rounds of 5 player games leading to semi/finals. The games will start roughly every 5-6 weeks, so you will be playing in only 1 game at a time, unless yours runs long due to player vacations. In that case you may have multiple games going for a time as the next round starts up and your previous round finishes.
