| Admitedly, this is only after a game and a half of playing, but the event cards that are chosen randomly each year do not appear to be occuring in a random order each season. So the order that the cards are listed on the board is the order that they will occur in, as opposed to them occuring in a random order. |

| Interesting! I just scanned a random dozen games or so, and in each game, the top event has been selected. Is that because when an event is selected, in moves to the top of the list, or is squid right, and the events are being chosen in list order? |

It does move the chosen card to the top. I'm fairly sure it's working correctly, but in your current game(s), please make a note* of the card order prior to selection, and let me know if it's indeed always the first that gets picked.
* you can use the underused Notepad feature to do this  |

Yeah, it just chose a random one in the game I'm currently playing.
I am easily confused by excellent design features that make my spielbyweb game experience better.  |
