What does the [BGG hit] link do on the "Your Completed Games" page ?

BoardGameGeek offers users a chance to record the boardgames they have played. WHen you click on that link, it records one game as being played under your username on BGG. I assume it only works if you have a BGG username.

There has been a massive increase in the number of Amun Re games played over the previous 2 months!

Maybe the link should be called "Record game at BGG" or somethig like that.

Yeah, I should probably make it more clear.

Note that you do have to be logged in to the 'geek already (or have your it set to auto-login via cookies) for it to work.

Interesting to look at the <A HREF="http://www.boardgamegeek.com/playgraph.php3?gameid[]=12962&gameid[]=5404&gameid[]=120&gameid[]=3307">games played stats at BGG</A> (I should probably generate my own stats from the site, but looking at BGG's is a good proxy). Not only have Amun-Re and Reef Encounter plays soared, it's spilled over to Hoity Toity, and (again, based on the BGG stats) has taken plays away from Wallenstein...

There doesn't seem to be any error-checking on the BGG Hit link to prevent someone from recording multiple hits from the same game, something I think I may have done inadvertently a couple of times. Is there any way to disable the link for a particular game after it's been clicked once?
