apart from the new job which is keeping me busy, the massive bushfires in Victoria / Australia are very close to home, although not directly affecting me or my family. Over a hundred homes, 20+ lives have been lost less than 30km from here
I'll get back into the tournament admin as I get a chance later this week. |

Life is moving on around here now. our region had one massive bushfire, 100+ homes and about 11 lives lost (they double counted in the confusion afterwards!!!). It covered 90,000 hectares (about 250,000 acres) in just a few hours. It was deliberately lit, with an arrest made. Not surprisingly, the man is in protective custody and his family has fled the region...
however across the whole state the total was about 1000 homes and 211 lives, still counting them. The devestation was so complete they are having great difficulty tallying the dead. Some remains may never be found. |
