Hi,
Can anyone recommend a website for playing Civ online?
My son had his first game at the weekend (at Baycon) and wants to play again. It's not my thing (waaaaay too long), but if there's a good online site, that may satisfy him.
Note that I mean Civ the boardgame, not Sid Maier's Civ the PC game.

There's a PC version that you can find out there as abandonware, it's not bad but it gets very slow (the AI has a lot of trouble making decisions about where to build ships). That has a PBEM option, but I'm not aware of any active PBEM sites.

You can also check out boardgamegeek.org.

Actually has a list of pbem interested opponents, though it could be out of date.

I have never tried civ over pbem though... could take quite a long time...

This is a very interesting game. I usually play this game with friends from the phone. Now it's very easy to download the game. I found it here you can download for free. I believe that playing on the phone is just as convenient as on a PC.
