Several times during the game so far, several players have noted that objects in the auction house are different from when they selected the auction house action.

For example:
"Item A-1760 Rococo Mask was turned face up on deck 2 (Fri Aug 22, 2008 11:41 pm)" As of now, no one had opportunity to purchase an item, yet the two items available are "E 1960 Alfred Hitchcock's Director's Chair" and "B 1934 Cheese Advertisement".
