receiving byes for Session 1: mooka; Carmilla.

As the numbers of players is not divisible by 3, (there are two extra) two bottom-ranked players must sit out Session 1. Ordinarily, that would include Adriaan Pieters, but no player is being asked to sit out in more than one ladder in the first session. Adriaan is already receiving a bye in the 5-Ladder. For all future sessions, each ladder will run independently of the others and the bottom-ranked players will receive byes as necessary.

However, no player will ever receive forced byes in the same ladder two sessions in a row.

Do what you think best. I'm afraid we'll get some players joining the wrong games by mistake, but that can always be sorted out.

Can I echo the idea that all Ladder games have the same consistent Password all the time?

PM'ing people is a complete waste of time and will slow things down.

Dvd Avins: Please issue an official statement that all games use a specific password and make is short and simple.

If an interloper joins the wrong game, just delete it or let it go.

Fine. Most games have already been created and whatever password they used is fine. But for any game that has not yet been created, and for all games starting with Session 2, the password should be:

tournament

The games list has been updated as links to the actual games. As the geams finish, the results will be listed under the links. And congratulations to Saul Pum, whose victory on Table 2 is the first win for anyone in the ladders.

Congratulations to Sacarino and all the winners of the lower tables.

A new thread to start Session 2 will be posted this week (possibly tonight).
