www.spielbyweb.com is blocked by my companies web access system (Websense) as its listed as a games site (gosh!) and apparently I am not allowed to play games during work - rotters. Is there any way you could set up a second non advertised (i.e. not put in search engines) domain name or a second IP address so the 9-5 workers like me can do their turns during lunch and tea breaks? |

yes, that should get you sacked. Then you'll be free to take up the job in Higher Ed.
There's a reason most companies don't allow access to sites like these, and getting caught breaking the rules via back doors is a pretty good way of losing your job.
I recommend patience, and waiting until you get home.
Of course, you're adult enough to make up your own mind, just be sure that you know the consequences. |

Wise words indeed from Freduk there for anyone silly enough to be thinking of breaking rules at work. In the spirit of keeping the public informed about potential wrong doing, I hope the following top tips are equally as useful;
Taking stationary from work is not borrowing....its theft!!
Reading a newspaper on the toilet in work time is extending time away from your desk un-necessarily and robbing your employer of your time. Only unprint paper should be handled in the lavatory.
Never use the work phone to call friends or family. That's theft too!
Never shag work colleagues. It creates a dreadful atmosphere in the office when you eventually sober up and working efficiency plummets. In a way thats sort of theft too!
I think thats enough to be getting on with and I hope a few people out there will think twice before talking, crapping, shafting and burglarising in the workplace in future. _________________ It's not the winning, it's utter annihilation of your opponant that matters. |

I tried 69.65.98.70, and am able to get to my games.
However, am not able to execute my turn.
Example:
1) I can access any one of my Tikal games.
2) Assuming it is my turn, I can rotate the tile piece.
3) When I try to place the tile, I am not allowed.
Instead I am logged out and a pink message bar above
the game board states that "You are not in this game!"
Any ideas on how to fix this ???
I noticed that when I try to login from the top of the Forum page,
WebSense comes up and blocks the next page. However when I
select the 'Back' button, and then press the SpielByWeb link from the
top of the Forum page, I return to the home page Logged in. I have
also noticed that no cookies are saved in my Cookies directory. |

I did some more testing, and it appears that in my Wallenstein games I can execute my turns, but not in Tikal. I don't know how the other games will play. |
