well, we had some serious battles in the jungles of Tikal this past month but the 4th round of the heads up tournament finally ended today. the results are as follows:

here are the standings and point totals after 8 games played by each player (2 points for a win, 1 point for a tie):

with another 2 solid wins this round Barra(uda maintains the overall points lead and remains the player to beat with 2 rounds to go. everyone with 8 points or more is still in contention to win it all but time is running out so polish up your strategies to make the most of every turn

meanwhile back out in the Jungle all the round 5 games are well under way. this round is moving along at such a great pace that i expect it to end in about the 3rd week of September and the whole tournament to finish up no later than Halloween. who will emerge as the Beast of Tikal? stay tuned and bring out your A game
