G'day to y'all out there in the Jungle
We're now 2 weeks into the Tikal Winter Olympics tournament. ROUND 1 is moving along at a decent clip. Games 2 and 4 are in rounds 16 and 15 respectively. Games 1 and 3 are in rounds 7 and 6 respectively. It would be nice to wrap up T.W.O. ROUND 1 this week if at all possible because we're going to be playing 3 games each in ROUND 2, which will make that middle qualifying round time-intensive. So consider this just a gentle nudge for the players in Games 1 and 3 to take as many turns this week as you can manage.
OK, let's get those treasures all polished up _________________ thanks for reading this far, JokeToy |

Al and I are doing our best to keep pace JT but one living in Spain and the other over here in the US of A makes it somewhat of a challenge with the time differences. Trying not to let any grass grow under our wheels. |

I understand, TH. The tourney field consists of 5 USA based players and 3 Europe based players. Your game with Al is the only ROUND 1 game involving two very different time zones. So, yeah, carry on as best you can. I promise not to rush you. Playing well is more important than playing fast.
In future rounds there will be more games with time zone issues. Perhaps we here in the USA can endeavor to take a turn or two during our lunch break, which could overlap nicely with the Europeans being home from work. _________________ thanks for reading this far, JokeToy |
