Counter-Strike: Global Offensive received an update last night that nerfed the middle-map Cache wallbang and improved four weapon skins.
Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro’s infamous Z doorway wallbang no longer deals 135 damage to Counter-Terrorists that are exiting from spawn to middle. The AWP shot now deals 10 damage per headshot, www.bettingcsgo.ru according to Shawn "FMPONE" Snelling, which is about a 93 percent drop in damage. This change now allows Counter-Terrorists to exit spawn and take middle control without fear of being shot through two walls.
Although map creator FMPONE coordinated the update with Valve in a timely manner, players have still found a way to hit the shot from the Terrorist spawn. Twitch streamer Jason “JasonR” Ruchelski proved last night on stream that another wallbang is still possible from the back spawn gate through garage. When the clip was posted to Reddit, it was titled “Nice Try FMPONE.”
If FMPONE wants to prevent the Terrorist side from obtaining an unfair advantage every round, he may want to consider nerfing the back garage wall damage altogether.
Four weapon skins with “normal mapping” were also added in last night’s CS:GO update. Normal mapping is an added three-dimensionality to skins that were previous two-dimensional. This new type of skin-texturing adds another level of complexity and craft to skin creation.
Skins that were updated include the M4A4 The Battlestar, the SSG 08 Big Iron, the Glock-18 Wraiths, www.bettingcsgo.ru/jackpot and the Desert Eagle Directive.
The total for normal mapped skins in CS:GO has now reached five, with the CZ-75 Victoria being the fifth. The community is definitely looking forward to the addition of more normal map skins to the game–especially the AK-47 Cartel, a popular minimalist skin.
Hopefully more welcome changes are added to Counter-Strike in the coming weeks before the Krakow Major. |
