As for Nexon.... They're slowly getting there. Originally, there was just one Money inventory per world per account, and characters on the accounts could get it 4ms2.com.

Afterward, in 2009, some greedy director at Nexon Korea created the brilliant idea of separate money inventories, to force folks to buy everything anew in their brand new Cygnus Knights. All clothing and pet gear (abilities) expired in 90 days, so people needed to buy them over and over again anyhow. But Nexon still wanted people to buy all the stuff over and over again twice. (And then, when Aran came out, three occasions. So on...)

Took them many years to begin having Money Inventory Transfer occasions. And today in 2016 they gave "faction" Money inventories, where classes belonging to the exact same group share their inventory.Hopefully, it won't take too long until they decide to just unify all Cash inventories. I think they're doing this slowly because they fear that these modifications will reduce them money, because people will no more have to get things for each character individually.

However, I believe they are seeing that it doesn't shed them much income, if at all. Most sales of pets and NX covers visit folks who already have loads of them. Yes, there are players who only have the one perm pet and maybe one perm NX outfit, and use them for ages. However there are also the "henehoes" who keep on buying stuff without getting their arms twisted. They buy it just because they like the way it seems. And for them, knowing they can use any thing on any personality will only encourage them to buy everything.

So I have hope that Nexon will see that, and increase our ability to share cash items among our personalities.
