When I order a movie on demand (rent for $4.99 or buy for $19.99) I feel this crazy guilt and I almost NEVER buy or rent movies on demand. But WHY!?!? I literally spend more money on a cup of coffee ($6) and don’t bat an eye…. but when it comes to movie rentals I’m like COME ON $4.99!?!? And then i decide if I really want to watch the movie or not.
Does anyone else feel this way!? It’s so weird to me because I spend money on a bunch of bullshit all the time but the on demand movies always bother me. |

I used to be like that. Spending money left and right. Buying every movie that came out. I'm a movie buff. But then my husband called me a spender. And I started saving money on almost everything. Now I wait for movies from the cinema to come online and watch them on fmovie. Yeah it's not the easy chairs and the big, fancy screen. But it's okay too. Sometimes I allow myself to go to the movies with my husband on a holiday. But no more than that. Mostly we have romance with him at home. I cook something nice and he sets up a place to watch it. We connect to the internet through the telly and enjoy the holiday. |

I don’t mind the $5-7. It’s the fact that we can’t enjoy it and pay attention with the kids always pestering.
If we do it, it’s only after they’re in bed and we can actually have peace. Honestly, we usually just buy it. If it’s going to be $7 to rent, might as well spend the $20 to own it. |

From the time it takes to watch a movie to the money spent, many people feel like they're wasting their money when they rent one on demand. |
