In the meantime, you can read IGN's Review of Madden 22, in which we discuss the reasons why the game fails to make the transition from being made available for the Xbox Series X|S and PS5. Madden 22 is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S as well as PC.
There are reports that EA Sports has cancelled the remaining franchise mode updates in Madden 22, the developer/publisher insists that there are two updates coming for the feature.
I reached out to EA's representatives via email , and received the following response that was sent to other publications.
"We are not averse to talk about rumors and speculation; however, we're determined to improve Franchise as a feature of the Madden NFL 22 live service and beyond. This includes two forthcoming Franchise updates which we'll provide in Madden NFL 22. We will have more details about the updates during the new year."
A positive note is that three players received boosts to their rating. Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield is up one point to 82 , following an efficient performance in a huge win against the Cincinnati Bengals. Mayfield was able to throw for 218 yards and two touchdowns in the victory of 41-16 after bouncing back from a tough game in the preceding week.
